If I ever told you the story of me dancing in a Punjabi music video after working all day (read 6am to 2am) in the Indian heat, driving around Punjab, nauseous from the amount of food and chai shoveled into my mouth from various relatives of my employer, without shower, make-up, brush, or sleep. Here is the proof that it did actually happen. Me and my Dutch roommate, Femke, dancing away. From what I hear, we are still on TV in Chandigarh.

all i know is i feel the need to lay on the grass and listen to music in the sunshine. (you know the type of music that defines moments. and lifetimes.)


i need a change in course. i need a change in scenery. i need a change in perception.

i think Mike said it best: "It's...getting...really...really...hard...to...take...academics...seriously...right...now...especially when I have a revolution to start and a job to find."

well i might have found the job, but the revolution is still in the works.

I am in the need of new music. Not just random, boring, everyone else has it music. But real, amazing, moment-making music.

like in the perks of being a wallflower. a song that makes you feel infinite.

and a book that i can read over spring break. i know i will be out doing amazing things, but i need a book that i can read on the flight. one that makes you think, and makes you want to look at the world differently.

i'm asking for suggestions.
